The title of this thread is asking for restaurants near the convention center. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for too but, if so, Fork is not near the CC. Also, Fork is nothing like the now closed Bookbinders. It's trendy type food with sauces and pretty vegetables. I did not eat there but saw the menu.
Check it out.
If you decide to go, report back on your experience. I've been tempted to go but never seem to end up there since the menu didn't appeal to Mr b1513.
