Thanks again for all your input... I have a lot of leg work to do and time to do it, as the trip is next summer. The family we might be going with has a home in Rhodes (Rodos - as suggested, lots of work to be done) and did mention something about Turkey. We are in the very early stages of planning and I just wanted to see if I can get there or how easy it is to get there on AA miles. I figured while there I would stay a week or so in Athens (burn Marriott points). I'll try for the JFK-MAD route and may even try a stop over there. Thanks again.
