Hi guys,

Ive just singed up for United Mileage via their website and have a quick question.

I currently live abroad and visit Canada more often than i do the U.S. Seeing as United and Aeroplan are both members of Star Alliance, does that mean i can use my United Mileage Membership Number to make aeroplan based purchases? ie - collect aeroplan points within Canada using my United Membership?

If not, that means i would need a seperate Aeroplan membership. In this case, can i transfer my current United miles to my new Aeroplan membershipl?
