Many people, including myself, feel dry (dehydrated) if they drink too much wine on a flight.

On my last flight, I asked if I could have the wine in one of the larger blue water glasses and the flight attendant just laughed as if I'd told the funniest joke ever, covering her mouth and then running down the aisle while I pondered my thimble of wine. It became sort of a game for me to see if I could outwit the system.
She should not be laughing about this. That may just be something else.
