We would like to bring duty-free liquor from SYD (on QF) through HNL to OGG (on HA).

I suspect we can put it in our luggage for the HNL-OGG flight after clearing customs if we can stay airside.

Another twist: the two flights are on separate tix.

Any advice or experience to offer?
