I've never seen so many corrections on the "right" way to call a city in so few posts! Growing up in Oakland I remember how sensitive people from across the bridge could be about any perceived slights to their town but had forgotten about it after moving away until this thread Its perhaps the most beautiful city in the country but also one of the most dirty and dumpy....

R and G is the best Chinese I've had in the past 2 years and these 2 years have been spent living in Shanghai! You can't go wrong there, I actually felt like I was eating in Kowloon!
