I would encourage you to try Chrome. I was very hesitant to do so at first, particularly 'cause I was a FF extensions junkie, but I became amazed at how much I ended up NOT missing all the extra stuff. Only extensions I still pine for are Roboform and the Google Toolbar (particularly with the new features, including Sidewiki, just released).

If you do decide to try Chrome, you may wish to install the Developer version. It's more "bleeding edge" but always offers more features/functionality than the regular build. Depends on your preference for power vs. rock-solidness
