I just got back from a 1 night stay (reward from free weekend night promo). The hotel is old, and it is starting to show. As a Plat I was "upgraded" to a larger room, but because I needed two beds, this room has a queen and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was ok, but not an upgrade to me. The room was very dated, with some crazy system were the front desk has to turn the power on in your room. The lights went out on us 3 times over the 1 night stay. Call down to the desk.. the do something then the lights are back on. It was clean but looked very dingy becuase of the age. Was given a "free drink at the bar coupon" They told me at the bar it was only for sparkling wine, my travel buddy doesn't drink so asked if he could have a cola in place of it. Was told no, no other option was given. So passed on that. I was told a check-in Breakfast was included with all rooms, but when I went to eat was told I was on a reward so no breakfast for me. The staff was ok, English was spotty at best. Had to ask for my platinum benefit choice. There is a new Hilton Garden Inn around the block from this hotel I went to take a look at it.. Much better hotel. Starwood needs to put some money in this hotel now!
