Yes! Now I'm sure!
Since I made that original post you were replying to, I've gotten one "2 double beds" non-handicapped room that had a bath/shower combo, but last night I got a second one (thus 2 out of 3 total) that had a walk-in shower only.
The room description for a handicapped version of the 2-double-bed room says it has a "rollin shower". This one's not roll-in, there's a short (a couple inches) little divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom that would have to NOT be there (or at least be very rounded) if it were roll-in. Furthermore, the handicapped room description says stuff about lowered accessories, siren and strobe equipment, closed caption TV, etc, and none of these things were in these rooms with shower only.
So they definitely have some good-sized fraction of their 2 doulbe bed rooms have this walk-in shower, despite the fact that the "accomodations" page of this hotel's website:
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/pc/1/en/ha/laxsm
clearly says their rooms have a "bathtub".
Unfortunately, I was in a hurry when checking out this morning and forgot to ask them what the story is on this...
