I tend to stay at one SS, and they consistently forget to post the welcome gift. I asked the front desk about it the last time I stayed at this property, and the woman who checked me in had no idea that diamond members are suppose to get 500 points as a welcome amenity. She mentioned something about a welcome amenity in the room, which I have never gotten, and an upgraded room, which has never happened for me either. I don't really need a larger room, but I would like the points to post without having to call every so often to get them to post.
