The Dexter Avenue location in Seattle does not ooze charm. There's really nothing to walk to from there except for a massive strip club, the Deja Vu, at the top of the block. It is also perched right on the lip of a major arterial, Highway 99, which is the main northbound drag out of Seattle. Walking from the hotel to the monorail station at the Space Needle is a laborious journey across many high-traffic roads, which sort of isolate the hotel from anything.
The nearest restaurant-and-fun zone is Belltown, which can be nice, but I would have the courtesy van drop you, then come get you.
The hotel is definitely not in the downtown core, nor accessible to any of Seattle's main "draws" (Pike Place Market, Westlake, the waterfront, etc.).
