Sounds like AA is back to the 90's!! I would encourage you as well to send in a note about the excellent service. They will note this in the FA's personnel file. It really helps the FA in case she gets a complaint (even the best FA's may have a bad day or have a surly, whining passenger who writes endless complaints).
