Yes, I was on an MD-80. They really are not that bad (to me). I find that as long as I am on the EF side there do not seem to be any issues with legroom or overhead space. Of course, now that they are getting gogo wi-fi installed on these puppies, you really don't need tiny lcd screens (or those honkin' ones in the aisle) to watch a bad Jennifer Lopez movie for 3 hours. Of course, YMMV.
