I don't think the Governor would issue a boycott threat unless the Boston Hyatts were the first major hotel brand to do this IN BOSTON. So, strong demerits to Hyatt for taking the lead locally, and for the way they are reported to have done so.

On the other hand, I wasn't impressed with the lackluster service in the Cambridge Hyatt restaurant a year ago, before any of this happened. Big difference from the excellent service at the much newer Harborside hotel. Unfortunately, veteran union members often develop eccentricities and lose interest in customer service after a period of years. That's not necessarily true of maids though.
