I did stay 5 nights in december at CP in BKK (formerly know as Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza since they got two towers, one for each chain). First time at this hotel, always stayed at Shangri-La (5 minutes from CP) before, but they didnt have any attractive rates during this "longkrothong" festival at Shangri-La.

CP is tho a very nice hotel, good location, nice restaurants and a very delicous breakfast buffet. The pool area is tho very noicy, the central air-con engine is located just beside of it, and that is very disturbing together with the always heavy traffic noice that appears in central Bangkok.
Our room was already prepared when we arrived, PC desk is located just next to the elevators, bags were escorted to the room while I signed the card. The nice guest realtions girl on duty showed us to the room which was loaded with fruit platter and complimentary soft drinks. It was a superior room at 19īth floor with view to the river.

I can really recommend this hotel, nice service at a really attractive price!

Best regards,
Gustaf
