Mrs. DL and I have stayed there twice...once in 1994 (the last night of our honeymoon) and again in 1997. One of the nicest CPs we have ever stayed in (only Singapore was nicer) - a modern high-rise centrally located in the Silom shopping district, very nice public areas, pleasant staff. Very good rates compared to other good hotels in the neighborhood (Dusit Thani, Oriental).

In addition to the tuk-tuks and taxis, the CP also had a very reliable limo service which was not too expensive.

YMMV, however...a lot can change in five years. Can't wait to go back to BKK, though.
