The fake watches and suit sellers are in the Nathan Road, Star Ferry Terminal/Ocean Terminal area. You won't find these on the Island. If there is one place in the world you will be pickpocketed, it will be Shenzhen - the shopping areas near the border are famous for it. I would like to know where the OP read that HK has a pickpocket problem, as this is clearly not true.
