I agree it would make more sense that a staff member did it.

It is a big assumption that you're jumping to with the title of this thread.

It could be argued that not prioritising your tinkle time before beginning work on your laptop was the issue here. Becuase claiming a shared resource like a desk, conveying it is taken or "owned" by leaving your paraphernalia there, could be seen as arrogant, and perhaps the reason why it was moved.
