Hmmm, yes, and the chances of a mistaken number with a matching surname are pretty small.
Can the gift be done over the phone? Perhaps the the gifter gave the name of the person, and the wrong person was selected in the system?
Then again, perhaps the OP simply has an anonymous benefactor
