Very true. I doubt there will be MVP UG on that route but in case there is I would reccomend to call at 48 hours and ask. They can verify the status and do some type of UG override if ones available. Had that issue when I became gold
I did this for my friend when he became MVP on the return of an ANC-SFO trip... He left ANC Wed and returned on Sunday Night... miles posted by Saturday, caught the status in the sweep Sat Night <Note, it did take a while for the status to reflect systemwide on AS... several hours> and called up the line and had him added to the list, well F, since there was U space within the 48 hour window
