Just checked my status on the web site, and I was dropped from Platinum to Gold status.

Does anyone know exactly how many fewer times this means that I will be told:

there are no upgrades
i gotcher number already
there is no free breakfast
we're outta newspapers
all the rooms are facing the pool
all the rooms are suites
we dont honor that price
all our rooms are quiet
there are no luggage carts
the bar was closed

And I wonder why I went from 93 nights to 22 last year............
