What about people who are SSSSed for the wrong reason, but are the actual person on the list? It gets worst for these people, and there are many! Plus, since the DOB is not printed out on the boarding pass, and there is no way to verify data on foreigners, and the data is not crossed with any database at the checkpoint, it is easy to make sure you are not picked out and SSSSed - send in wrong DOB info and declare a foreign nationality, but make sure your name matches whatever ID you choose to present.
This is just another insane measure that does not improve security and hassles the honest traveler.
