I was just on LH 416 from FRA to IAD last week and I thought the food was some of the worst I have ever had on LH. The appetizer was okay but the main course was horrible. I commented to the flight attendant that they should stop promoting all this Sky Chef BS if the food is not good. I assumed I could get some decent cheese since I didn't eat hardly any of the main course but the cheese plate offered brie, cheddar and some other tasteless alternative. What choices!! I can get those at every supermarket in the US and even in Germany Aldi has much better choices.

It really has gone down hill in recent years in Business Class and I have had much better food on both UA (UA 932 with the new FLAT BC seat served a pretty decent chicken on the outbound flight for that trip) and SAS which I took from IAD a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe the LH representative we have on the board should point out the issues to LH catering people.
