Just got back from 5 days in the Willamette Valley and visited the following:
Day 1
Rex Hill
Adelsheim
Bergström
Carlton Winemakers Studio
Day 2
Willamette Valley Vineyards
Eola Hills
Bethel Heights
Cristom
Day 3
Sokol Blosser
Argyle
Four Graces
Winters Hill
Domaine Serene
Day 4
Elk Cove
Anne Amie
Archery Summit
DePonte
One added note is that most wineries promote their wine clubs, however, at Archery Summit, it was very aggressive, to the point of the guy serving us being annoying and obnoxious. While we bought a couple of bottles because we like the wine, I couldn't wait to get out of there. We found out that Archery is owned by some large investment group and their approach is probably linked to that fact. Also, the wines we purchased were put in a Pine Ridge winery bag, which is in the Napa Valley. What's up with that????
