I think that 2:45am timing is very strange and must have to do with the 10:40pm departure from JFK. Excuse my ignorance but why would someone want to arrive in HKG at 5:45am? Even if you connect to other areas you still arrive so early that it's painful

No that flight is NONSTOP to YYZ [toronto]
Also Clipper didnt bother to post that CX will now leave YYZ at MIDNIGHT and arrive in HKG at either 4am or 5am...... lol try to check in your hotel then.
