Yes, both ATL-HNL and MSP-HNL food service is now, pardon the language, total crap. I fly both routes a lot (flying from HNL to DCA 4-6 times each year), and it's the same on both. Not even any decent dessert anymore. Always the same cheap ice cream! And the food is truly "worst of class," totally flavourless pasta or chicken that tastes like...boiled dead chicken (NOT good). Clearly just boiled without any spices or flavour, with a cup of apple sauce (who eats apple sauce with chicken?) and turkey stuffing on the side.

And in the 1st class lavatories, no more other amenities as it used to be, just soap.

Economy on many non-US airlines (except the seating, of course) is a lot better than this.
