I was sent to secondary about a year ago when I returned from a trip abroad using a spanking brand new US passport. Apparently there was a dead match with my personal details (same last name, same date of birth but different gender), so I was sent downstairs. Within a few minutes of checking (at secondary), off I went. These guys were sympathetic but following the procedures. Anyway, I wrote to CBP to compliment the officers.
