It could be anything. Perhaps your ticket was out of whack for some reason (e.g., a schedule change), and instead of reissuing or reassociating the flihgt coupons, the agent did it this way.
You get this sometimes during reroutes as well, especially if you're changing airports.

Autocert means miles are deducted to support an upgrade in the form of an electronic certificate, and they will automatically be pulled if you are upgraded, or returned to account if not.
Slight clarification, the cert
may be returned if not used. I know GAs like to say this, but not always the case. Not sure why, but that's the way it is.
