The convention center area is not restaurant heaven.

For something funky at lunch, walk on over to Zebulon. For some reason we've always gone there for lunch even whenit was Frank and Zoe's or something like that.

You might also walk to the quiet oasis of South Park for Caffe Centro or The Butler and the Chef Bistro. There's also a brewery and a few other cafes.

You won't find tourists or convention goers in these places, but it will be a fun experience in the city. Very young crowd, but we're also seniors and have always been welcomed and felt comfortable. Breakfast at The Butler is very good.
