OTOH if you are crediting a W/T seat segment to AA, the lack of a status bonus on BA (assuming equal prices) does nudge the choice in the direction of QF. But then it does appear that at least exSIN and Australia the QF seat is slightly more expensive (YMMV)

The only time I have attempted to fly in QF W, they managed to have a traffic accident with 2 4-class 747s. Sometimes status is useful......
