not found in a cab, so it sounds like PD is the right place. I honestly did not think that the PD would be a known clearinghouse that a foreign visitor would think to contact. I can easily send the card to the NYPD if that's the right way to go. My only interest is here is that the couple involved (guests to the US, as I see it) not lose out on their photos. I know if i was on a transoceanic vaction and lost a few days worth of memories, I'd be bummed. My fear with any lost and found that isn't extremely site specific is that it would just disappear into a black hole, with no way for the owners to think to check that particular l&f.

erik123: I can't ID a hotel, but I did ID that they took the "World Yacht" dinner cruise. I tried to call the world yacht but they never answered. I emailed a query to all of the email addresses I could find on their website and have heard nothing back.
