my SO and I both have BMI accounts approaching 1 year with no activity. I realize I could buy 1000 miles or some such thing to generate activity, but I am curious about the actual significance of an account considered dormant. Having done a search and seen a few comments that to resolve dormancy one need only call in and it will be reversed during the first year of dormancy. Is it actually this simple by everyone's experience? I would prefer to let it go dormant if this is so and then just call in prior to the next activity and have it made not dormant prior to that activity.
