I need 5300 Club Miles to renew to MP Gold between now and Nov. 2009. If I am in SF Bay Area, is flights on American my only option to get there? Are there non-airline partners who give Club Miles?

I do no forsee taking any international trips on Cathay until later in the year. Do have some domestic travel but American may not offer the best fares or connections.
