Not a problem at any HHonors hotels except Hampton Inns. The HHonors rules specifically state that the spouse stays free does not apply at Hampton Inn, and as I noted in another thread, many Hampton Inns are now charging more (anywhere from $2-10) for the extra person. I frankly think it is ridiculous and would like to start a thread to "out" those Hampton Inns that have adopted this practice. My first contribution is the Hampton Inn Fort Worth Southwest which is charging about $2 more for the second person. The Hampton Inn Concord/Bow, NH is also charging more, $9 for the second person. At already high rates at some Hampton properties, Marriott is beginning to look good.
