Just be sure to throw the box away in the US, and make sure the machine doesn't look new (which also means putting manuals and CD's in an envelope and mailing them home. Otherwise you run the risk of your home county asking for duty paid on the machine.
What's so awful about paying the duty you owe to your own country? If you don't like it then you're always free to move somewhere else.
