tfar and FTers, I've noticed a TravelPro Plat 5 52cm (20.8 in) rollaboard, in 'Aspen' or black, on sale locally for the equivalent of $78. I notice that Plat 5 has been superseded for some time, considering eBags is selling Plat 7.

I have aTravelPro 'lite' rollaboard already. This might be a good addition.

Has anyone else had experience they can share with the TravelPro 5 22" rollaboard - in terms of useability, being acceptable size on European mainlin & LCC flights, in addition to other international travel?

I'm considering it as a gift to an elderly relative. Or myself.
