Your only choice is the standard go someplace else (who is likely doing this also).
Just because others are doing it doesn't mean it isn't illegal.
I don't know if it is or isn't illegal (that's what courts are for), but if it isn't illegal, it should be.
I used to look at ads from travel agencies/consolidators, etc. in the Sunday paper. I don't anymore because most are advertising prices without taxes and fees - and that's meaningless. Again, if that isn't illegal, it should be.
