and it may not require a new power adapter; just the wall outlet portion of it.

Most power supplies are 2 or three pieces and the part that plugs into your wall is just a plug witht the adapter on it.

I just looked at all 3 laptops in my house and they are all rated 220/240 in addition to the 110/120.http://www.powersuppliesonline.co.uk.../260/PC136.jpg
