Did you also try booking it on other sites, like Expedia, Orbitz, etc.? Does the same thing happen? If so, then it appears that this "Z" version of the UP fare is programmed not to let you book into "A" on 2-cabin flights. If that is the case, I would not buy this fare, as the risk during IRROPS could be even greater than usual, given that most domestic flights do not have a Z bucket available.

Some free websites, like ITA, do let you see the "Economy" in the fare rules. I believe that .bomb does not, however.
