I am planning on spending award miles to go from DTW to ANC but I am about 750 miles short

What is the best way to get these points - pretty sure I've got all the free miles available to get.

Should I just go ahead and buy 2000 miles for ~$60 since the $30 fee is waived or does anyone have any suggestions.

BTW: I would like to get these miles ASAP so I can book the trip so ideas where there would be a wait probably won't make sense for me.
