I call that article BS

This seems to be just the very regular china-bashing the us gouvernment seems to be sponsoring, or at least allowing, for the last years. Apparently they're trying to get the populations mind to hate the Chinese, just as they did with the Russians two generations ago. Mind you, the US was, and is, still the number one spy of company secrets. Ask some german high tech companies about "Echolon"... that will tell you enough. If you enter the US with a notebook which has a crypted hard drive (pretty much the standard in every company with an IT dept.) they'll force you to hand them over the password, and examine the disk, without you actually beeing able to control them.

So it seems that "Sholto Macpherson" likes to complain against the weeds in the neighbours garden, while he can't even walk out of his own house due to the mess in his own garden.

Just for any travel outside the company building, here are some hints what to do, if you're really paranoic about your companies secrets:

-Don't have any data on your hard disc.
-Have it crypted, and have another folder in a seperate partition which is hidden, on which you download material you need to work on over VPN only (which you delete locally, after uploading to the company server again)
