But I have had luck in changing seats and even class on the second leg of a through flight. If you are on a through flight with a stop, you can always ask at the airport, (GA or AC) and see if the can move you between the legs. I did this a lot in years past when I was gold and trying to snag whatever pieces of upgrades I could. Has the policy changed?
