WiFi usage permitted? I thought this was funny...
On Friday (9-11) I was on the JFK to LAX PS service and the captain came on the PA and announced he thinks we are in a WiFi enabled aircraft and internet service would be available during the flight. He double checked, and sadly, we were not in a WiFi enabled aircraft...

Only moments later, the purser makes the announcement that during flight all electronics must have transmit & receive function disabled.
