I like Hertz and the icing on top of some very nice slugs of miles into BD was rather helpful. Wonder if we might see the return of Hertz as a BA partner?

Europcar are pretty good - though I do recall being annoyed about their apparent requirement to bring the car back empty and prepay for fuel upfront - if you're not going too far, that could be costly. Last rented from them about 18 months ago, so that may have changed.
