Did this Friday 11th September 2009, the concierge at Grand Hyatt contacts uniformed Police officer who completes a form using your driving licence infomation does a phone check on you then escorts you to the regular security screening area and hands you over to a TSA officer. Normal screening is done to you as well as a pat down, not at all inconvenient as you are then able to go terminal to terminal using the Skylink to shop, and eat. A great idea just be prepared for a bit of a wait and all is good.
I have also done this one time when staying at the DFW GH. I was appalled at the amount of information I had to give up, and the search included a secondary despite the fact that I was wearing shorts, a polo shirt, and flip-flops and carrying a paperback novel.
Don't waste your time.
