While not strictly RTW in the XONEX sense, there are cheaper alternatives out of New Zealand.

You can route something like
AKL-LAX-JFK-LHR-SIN-SYD-AKL (unfortunately Africa is not included)

It books into T, so availability could become a bug bear. Of course you have to find the flights with Premium Econ in them as well.
