Of course in Laos many forms of transportation leave "soon". When does this boat leave? Soon. (meaning now if a few more passengers show up, later if that's when some more passengers show up. Unless it's lunch time when enough passengers finally show up. Then it has to wait until after lunch. But in any case "soon".)
