It would be better if UA and others were consistent with the rules. Just recently a guy was denied boarding on the return portion of his trip with SWA, only to have UA sell him a single seat in order to get home. I forget what network covered the story, but the point I'm trying to make is that it would be better for everyone, including POS if the rules were consistently enforced.
