I think, actually, there may be an issue with packing other things with the contact lens solution ...

So, if you're claiming the contact lens solution as a medical exemption to the 100ml-1-1 rule, as is your right, then you may be obligated to present the solution separately from any other items, such as your solid deodorant. So, I think you were technically in violation of the rules ... though not the rule being cited by the screener. (Of course, you can use as many Ziploc bags as you want when packing your items.)
