"She Has TWO ZipLoc Bags!"

Went through security at LGA and as I always do, I put my TWO, yes, TWO quart size ziplock bags in the same bin and went through metal detector. Bin cleared X-ray as it always does with no questions. In one of my two bags, I put my toothpaste, hair stuff, etc. In my second bag, I put my contact lens solution, solid deodorant, razor, and some cotton balls. Everything is less than 100ML. As I am repacking my luggage, a TSA person collection empty bins said to me, "are these your bags?" I just kept repacking. She then said, "you have TWO bags. You are NOT allowed two bags." I replied, "Yes, I am allowed. The second bag is my contact lens solution which is exempt." She replied, loudly, "it is not exempt. You can only have ONE bag." I was trying very hard to remain calm but I replied, "contact lens solution is exempt. Read the rules." She took great offense at this comment and informed she knew the rules and besides I had other things in my second bag besides the contact lens solution. True, but I did not feel like explaining to her that my razor, solid deodorant, and cotton balls are not liquids or gels and therefore, can be packed wherever I want them to be packed. I picked up my things and started to walk away and I heard her yelling (I guess to everyone and anyone in the area), "She has TWO bags." (At the gate, another passenger asked what I had done at security to make the lady so upset). I carry the rules from the TSA website with me so I was prepared to pull them out and show them the exemption for contact lens solution. However, I welcome your thoughts. Am I correct? Any issue packing other things with my contact lens solution? Thanks!
